January Meeting - RECAP

FRIDAY EVENING FELLOWSHIP

We had some good laughs watching The Studio and also The Studio Bloopers.

"Speaking of aliens, where's your cat?"

Stacie and John-Clay discussing video projects.

Matthew and Adam appear to be listening to an intriguing story...or lame joke :)

SATURDAY MEETING

John Vines led the devotion Saturday morning and then also gave a great presentation about how advertising can effect our worldview.

Stacie Jones presented an opportunity for the group to produce two 30 second commercials for Hope Pregnancy Center in Bryan, TX. It was unanimously vote in as DCFM's next project and filming is scheduled for February.

Matthew Bradley (DCFM V.P.) led the rest of the day's agenda, which involved reflecting on past projects and prayer for God's will concerning future of DCFM as a group and future DCFM projects.

Laptops are real handy at DCFM meetings.

Caleb Simmons joined the group Saturday afternoon to "see what DCFM is all about." Visitors are always welcome!

Several "regular attenders" are filling out application forms to become "official members" of DCFM.

All three were voted in! Mollie Reeder, Stacie Jones, and Heidi Fischer are now members of DCFM!

HA! Now we have documented proof of everyone who was at the DCFM meeting in January 2010!
(not sure why that's such a dramatic fact...it just is)

John-Clay giving a quick demonstration of how to draw a "top down" of scene locations.

A "top down" is basically a map of a top-down view of your location and select camera angles and action paths.

So good to see what DCFMers are up to. Sorry I missed the meeting...and will miss Feb's too. Looking forward to seeing what you all put together though, and praying that the Lord will use you for His glory and give you guidance. Have I mentioned that I miss you all?!?!

Congrats to all the new members! Looking forward to meeting you someday.

Re documented proof of everyone present--that's a dramatic fact because deep down y'all really DO like getting group pictures taken every month...some folks just won't admit to it. :-P ;D

Actually, it's a dramatic fact because it represents all the AMAZING AMAZING people in our group! We are so blessed!

Thanks for posting the pix--very fun! :D
