Extras Shoot in Kauffman

Hey y'all! I hope you've been following John Moore's blog for the latest in updates, images and videos as they continue to shoot their big movie, The Widow's Might! If you haven't, hurry over to his website fast! You'll love the new site design and access to important info!

Also, you'll want to get in on today's big event!! TODAY in Kauffman, TX, HeuMoore is shooting their biggest scene and would love to have you in it! If you would like to be an extra in the set of The Widow's Might, or know folks who would, click here for more information. But to get you started, arrival time is between 4-5:30pm and shooting is set to begin around 6. There is a map on the page as well. BUT GO TO THE WEBSITE and plan to be there for this unforgettable event!! :D

Oh, and to get an idea for the scale and quality of this film, *cough* go to the website and check out all the set pictures. Very nice.

And for a quick update on another exciting film.....


The Measure of a Man editing is underway!! Stephanie has flown up to Wisconsin to meet with Nathan Webster and work on the first cut of the movie!! Steph says it's going good!

Please be in prayer for creativity, wisdom and stamina as they merge varying types of footage, and as they bring together the takes, colors, music and flow. Steph and the Websters will be working diligently on the first cut this week, then when Steph returns to the Great State of Texas next week, arrangements for narration and soundtrack recordings will be underway.


Also, BTS pre-edit work is underway in full force and Kayleen would appreciate your prayers if you think of her as well. The goal is to have most all of the special features elements in line by September 6th. Lots going on!!

Hopefully we'll have some images and feedback on DCFM's August meeting next week so you can get a look into all the great things we learned, did and enjoyed together! So stay tuned! September's meeting will be on the 19th & 20th. Hope to see you there!
